AR005 - DJ Ruxbin Presents 'Book It !!' Promotional Booking Mix CD
Cut live from vinyl at 25th and Tasker, this promotional booking mix spans 7 sections of different genres indicating the burgeoning vastness of a yung Rux’s record collection [or at least what could fit on the couch at the time]. Samples recorded through a microphone using the text to talk feature on an archaic long bricked cell phone. There were TEN editions of this lil guy, each an edition of one hundred, and he certainly served his purpose. Multiple colorways, including the original B+W version that had a handwritten tracklist. Most versions were printed at Hottt Off the Press on 49th and Baltimore Avenue. Original CDrs on reflective silver, later CDrs on matte white with Actual Records custom stamping and imprinting. Featuring the bootleg bear on the cover that started this all: you can blame him for literally any of this.
